John and Rosemary, surely a marriage made in Heaven! I first met them forty seven years ago when we were all young parents. John would sometimes be left minding all the little children while Rosemary and I were out and we would arrive back to their house to find a room full of toys, all the children playing happily and dear John, sitting with his feet up and his newspaper in his hands. He was always so kind, thoughtful and helpful and had a quick wit that would leave everyone smiling. Lastly but by no means least, his lemon meringue pies and home made bread were legendary. Thanks John, may you rest in peace and rise in glory.
