I had the privilege of working with John when he was a Special Needs Careers Adviser in Tower Hamlets in the 80’s and 90’s. Always ready for a chat and a joke, his warmth and personality endeared him to both staff and clients. He was much missed by us all when he left to begin his Ministry with the church but I’d see him from time to time and he was so enjoying himself! Rest In Peace John
